Sustainable Living Through Art: Transforming Industrial Waste with Creativity

Sustainable Living Through Art: Transforming Industrial Waste with Creativity

Supported by the British Council’s Creative Collaborations Grant Program, the “Sustainable Living Through Art” project aims to use art as a transformative tool for a sustainable future. Bringing together digital artists and creators working with industrial waste, this innovative initiative will launch with workshops and a residency program in İzmit on December 15-16, 2024.

Organized in collaboration with the Sustainable Art Women’s Cooperative (SUSAKO) and the UK-based TB Cultural and Creative Industries Center (C4CCI), the project bridges art and ecology to inspire creative solutions.

  • Artistic Inspiration: Exploring creative solutions at the intersection of ecology and art.

Curated by Dr. Ayla Torun, the project will culminate in exhibitions starting in March 2025, showcasing the works in Kocaeli, Istanbul, and London.
