This opening also aligns with ongoing Türkiye–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) discussions, which include a proposed Bilateral Health Services Cooperation Mechanism — a framework to facilitate regulated, reciprocal healthcare access between the two nations.

By establishing a physical presence in the UK, Medicana becomes both a healthcare provider and a policy pioneer, illustrating how Turkish institutions can complement and strengthen international systems.
