“Pablo Picasso – A Journey from Painting to Ceramics” Exhibition

Pablo Picasso’s works are now on display at the Atatürk Cultural Center as part of the Istanbul Culture Route Festival. The exhibition presents 170 original pieces, including Picasso’s engravings, drawings, posters, lithographs, and photographs. It offers a glimpse into the intersection of Picasso’s art and personal life, illuminating key phases of his creative journey. The “Pablo Picasso – A Journey from Painting to Ceramics” exhibition invites visitors to explore the life of a master until December 31 at the AKM Gallery.

“Warhol’s World – The Icon of Pop Art” Exhibition

Another must-see exhibition at AKM is the Andy Warhol exhibition. Focused on the works of this leading figure in the Pop Art movement, “Warhol’s World – The Icon of Pop Art” offers visitors a chance to delve into the cultural and aesthetic transformations brought about by the movement. Featuring bold colors and simple compositions, the collection reflects Warhol’s unique artistic vision. The exhibition will be open to the public at AKM’s Multi-Purpose Hall until December 31.

“Frida Kahlo’s Diaries” Exhibition

One of the standout exhibitions in the festival is “Frida Kahlo’s Diaries,” held at the historic Grand Pera building. Drawing inspiration from Kahlo’s personal journals, the exhibition provides an intimate look into the artist’s inner world and creative process. A combination of physical and digital elements, the phygital exhibition integrates new technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital installations, offering a multi-dimensional experience. The “Frida Kahlo’s Diaries” exhibition will run until October 26 at Grand Pera.

“Leonardo Da Vinci – Renaissance Genius” Exhibition

The “Leonardo Da Vinci – Renaissance Genius” exhibition at the Lale Museum offers an insightful look into the mind of one of the most influential figures of the Renaissance. Based on Da Vinci’s sketches and drawings, the exhibition showcases over 100 invention models, highlighting the technological and aesthetic revolutions of his time. With a collection of 230 items and over 110 accompanying documents, codes, and reproductions, visitors have the opportunity to explore the depth of Da Vinci’s works and their lasting influence on modern life. The exhibition will be open until January 15 at the Lale Museum.

“Sebastião Salgado – Genesis” Exhibition

In addition to showcasing key figures from art history, the works of world-renowned photographer and activist Sebastião Salgado are now on display as part of the Istanbul Culture Route Festival and 212 Photography Istanbul. The exhibition titled “Genesis” marks the festival’s first exhibition, which will run for three months. Featuring 245 black-and-white photographs, the exhibition highlights Salgado’s focus on climate change and vanishing landscapes. Through captivating images that present the Earth’s unparalleled beauty, the exhibition invites visitors to grasp the importance of preserving nature and to reflect on the fragile balance of our planet. The Genesis exhibition will be open until December 31 at Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center.
