Contemporary Turkish Artists to Showcase ‘Form & Flux’ at London’s 67 York Street
Form & Flux exhibition is set to debut at the 67 York Street Gallery from 2 to 4 April 2026. Curated by İlayda Uzunarslan, the showcase features a curated selection of contemporary Turkish artists whose work explores the tension between physical structure and creative transformation.
From April 2 to April 4, 2026, the 67 York Street Gallery in Marylebone will host Form & Flux, a curated group exhibition that explores the intersection of traditional medium and modern transformation. Curated by İlayda Uzunarslan, the show serves as a creative bridge between the art scenes of Istanbul and London, highlighting eight prominent and emerging Turkish voices.
The Concept: Stability vs. Spontaneity
The exhibition interrogates the definition of “form” as a living, mutable structure rather than a static end product. By contrasting rigid structures with fluid, “flux-like” movements, the featured artists explore how contemporary identity and perception shift across geographical borders. Visitors can expect a multi-sensory experience featuring tactile explorations of material resistance through painting and sculpture alongside investigations into the temporal nature of art in the modern age through digital and mixed media.
Featured Artists
The exhibition showcases a diverse collective of eight artists, each contributing a unique perspective to the dialogue by Yeliz Şık Çiftçi, Rosy Macoro, Pemra Aksoy, Nazan Pamuk, Nazan Aksaray, Ilay Karabay Solaklı, Dila Naz. Agün, and Beliz Inal, offering a diverse exploration of painting, sculpture, and digital art.
The event is supported by TBMag as the official media sponsor, reflecting the exhibition’s role in strengthening the cultural ties within the British-Turkish community.

Artist Profiles
Pemra Aksoy A PhD graduate from Mimar Sinan University, Aksoy’s work is deeply rooted in sociology and the “dialectic between painting and writing.” She often uses collage and mixed media to explore autobiographical themes and the construction of self within society.
Yeliz Şık Çiftçi An artist and clinical psychologist, Çiftçi brings a unique “therapist’s gaze” to her art. Her work often translates subconscious imagery, inspired by psychological sessions into layered, textured paintings that capture the emotional intensity of human relationships.
Beliz İnal A multidisciplinary figure in the Turkish art scene, İnal is an artist, curator, and co-founder of BBprojecTT. With a background in theater and acting, she brings a performative and narrative quality to her visual art and has a long history of representing Turkish artists in international galleries.
Dila Naz Akgün An interior architect and ceramic artist, Akgün focuses on the tactile and transformative nature of clay. As a co-founder of N&P Art Studio, her work often bridges the gap between functional form and abstract sculpture.
Nazan Pamuk A figurative painter known for her evocative oil and acrylic works, Pamuk’s pieces (such as Göğe Bakalım) often explore themes of nature, tradition, and the female figure with a distinct, contemporary palette.
Rosy Macoro Macoro is a contemporary artist who engages with the boundaries of form and abstraction. Her participation in Form & Flux highlights her interest in how materials shift and adapt when placed in new cultural contexts.
Nazan Aksaray Working within the realm of contemporary painting, Aksaray explores visual rhythms and patterns. Her work often dialogues with the surrounding space, emphasizing the “flux” or movement within seemingly static compositions.
İlay Karabay Solaklı Solaklı contributes to the exhibition’s exploration of transformation. Her practice often involves experimenting with material resistance and the visual traces left by the creative process.
