Call for Participation: 7th Turkish Community Art Exhibition in London

The Yunus Emre Institute London and the Turkish Consulate General in London are delighted to announce the 7th Turkish Community Art Exhibition, a celebration of creativity within the Turkish community in the United Kingdom. Scheduled to take place between 19th March and 19th April 2025 at the Yunus Emre Institute in London, this much-anticipated annual event invites Turkish artists of all skill levels to showcase their work.

The exhibition aims to bring together diverse artworks, ranging from traditional mediums to cutting-edge digital art, by UK-based Turkish artists. It offers a unique platform for established professionals, emerging talents, and amateur creators to connect, inspire, and foster cultural unity within the Turkish community.

Key Details for Participation:

Who Can Apply? Artists aged 16 and over who are part of or connected to the Turkish community and currently reside in the UK.

Artworks Accepted: Contemporary or traditional art in any medium (e.g., painting, sculpture, digital art, video art, short films, and performances). Each artist can submit up to 3 pieces, created within the last 3 years, that have not been exhibited before.

Deadline for Submissions: Midnight on 31st January 2025.

Selection Announcement: 15th February 2025.

Exhibition Dates: 19th March – 19th April 2025, open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm.

Inauguration Ceremony: 19th March 2025 at 7 pm, by invitation only.

This year, the exhibition will also feature an online catalogue, making the displayed works accessible to art enthusiasts worldwide.
