Esteemed panelists Dr. Ekin Gündüz Özdemirci and Nurten Bayraktar from EkoFilm: Sustainable Production Platform, Environmental Humanities Center, Cappadocia University, Türkiye will share insights into sustainable filmmaking practices and creative process behind “Neandria.”

Story
Here in Neandria, it’s the same as everywhere. Things are run by older men who know it all, environmental destruction looms, and greed beats in most hearts. Here in this village, only the young ones seem to search for freedom in the cracks.—Atlantik Film
Near the ancient city of Neandria, which means “home of the young man,” lies a village where children dream among the ruins. Suna, a young girl, prepares for athletics competitions as much as the resources of the village she lives in allow. Meanwhile, preparations are underway to build a quarry in her village. Suna embarks on a long self-discovery, running towards her own dreams.
